About this event

Held for the first time in Matsukawa Town, Nagano Prefecture, "Joudan Fes Dynamite Newton 2026" originated from a proposal by Matsuo Atom Mae Hashutsujo, a comedian from Matsukawa Town, out of a desire to hold a comedy live show in his hometown. Volunteers gathered to establish the "Joudan Culture Preservation Society" and have prepared everything starting from venue arrangements. On the day, seven comedy acts—including Matsuo Atom Mae Hashutsujo, Mou Chugakusei, Saotome Rei, Tsuntsukutsun Banpaku, Nippon Elekitel Rengo, Haru to Hikoki, and Manju Dai Teikoku—will deliver live comedy performances. In addition, diverse programs are prepared, such as a subculture stage, mini-truck stage, puppet show, Mölkky experience, and free-throw shootout. Booths and merchandise sales by local food and beverage vendors are also planned. On the special stage at "Baishoen," an outdoor plaza surrounded by rich nature, attendees can enjoy not only live comedy but also various stages and activities in an atmosphere distinct from a regular theater. Since this festival will be a one-time-only event, it will be a special occasion.
