Series 169 Train Open Day

About this event

Sakaki Town will hold a public open day for the Series 169 train cars. On this occasion, you can directly come into contact with the Series 169 train that was once in active service. Boarding inside the cars is also possible, providing a valuable experience to feel the atmosphere of those days. The event will take place at the statically preserved Series 169 S51 train set located in the multipurpose plaza in front of Sakaki Station, within walking distance from Sakaki Station. Eating and drinking are permitted, but visitors are asked to cooperate by taking their trash home. Please use the public restrooms in front of Sakaki Station. Parking while viewing is available, but please follow instructions on-site. This event offers an opportunity to experience local culture, enjoyable for railway fans as well as families with children.
