About this event

"Nezumi Daikon Festival 2026," a harvest festival celebrating the specialty "Nezumi Daikon" radish of Sakaki Town, Nagano Prefecture, will be held. At this event, visitors can experience harvesting the unique "Nezumi Daikon" radishes with tail-like tips, and fresh agricultural produce as well as processed goods will be sold. Every year, many visitors harvest bags full of Nezumi Daikon and enjoy the day with family and friends. Participants in the harvest will receive discount vouchers for "Oshibori Udon and Soba" usable at 7 shops in town. Sakaki Town's pride, "Oshibori Udon," is characterized by a subtle sweetness spreading after its sharp spiciness; please take this chance to savor it. The event takes place at the Sakaki Local Produce Market "Aisai" and neighboring farm fields, with harvest experiences held in the morning. Access is about 3 minutes by car from the Joshin-Etsu Expressway Sakaki IC, and within walking distance from Shinano Railway Techno-Sakaki Station.
