About this event

The 8th Reiwa 8 Autumn Gratitude Three-Shrine Pilgrimage is a walking event held in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture. Centering on Tajimi Station, participants visit three shrines—Hakusan Shrine, Shinra Shrine, and Hondo Shrine—as well as historical spots such as the Nishiura Memorial Hall (which utilizes a Nishiura family storehouse built in the Edo period) and the Kuninaga Historic Site. Over a course of about 2.5 hours, it offers an opportunity to express gratitude to the shrines for the first half of the year and state resolutions for the second half. All participants will receive a special "Spot-the-Difference Card" exclusive to the gratitude pilgrimage project, allowing them to engage with the history and culture of Tajimi while having fun. You can also join or leave midway along the route, and participating with strollers is completely safe and welcome. Held in light rain, though changes may occur depending on conditions in the event of rain. As parking is limited, the use of public transportation is recommended. The event is themed around "Walking with Gratitude: Three Kinpeisha Shrines & the History of Tajimi," and anyone can casually participate for free with no reservation required.
