In Shizuoka Prefecture, special benefits such as free admission and discounts will be offered at facilities across the prefecture in commemoration of Prefectural Citizens' Day. In Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu City, facilities available for free or at discounted rates include the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments, Hamamatsu City Kamo Mabuchi Memorial Hall, Keisuke Kinoshita Memorial Museum / Former Hamamatsu Bank Association Building, Hamamatsu Municipal Museum, Hamamatsu Castle (Keep Tower and Castle Gate), Hamamatsu Matsuri Pavilion, Important Cultural Property Nakamura Residence, Hamamatsu City Tea Room Shointei, Shizuoka Prefectural Fisheries and Marine Technology Research Institute Lake Hamana Branch Lake Hamana Experience Facility WALTT, and Hamana-ko Garden Park Observation Tower. These facilities offer a chance to easily experience exhibitions and venues that normally charge an admission fee. In particular, the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments will offer free admission where visitors can experience various instruments. At Hamamatsu Castle, entrance to the keep tower will be free, providing a panoramic view of the Hamamatsu cityscape. Additionally, at the Hamamatsu City Tea Room Shointei, tea service fees will be discounted, allowing visitors to take a break with traditional Japanese sweets.
