Held at Hamamatsu Science Museum Mirai-ra, 'Night Science Museum 2026 (August)' is a night museum event exclusively for high school students and older, taking place on Saturday, August 22, 2026. During this special evening opening, visitors can enjoy the permanent exhibits along with monthly changing programs. In August, explore the passionate love stories of constellations in the special planetarium projection 'Summer Romance of the Constellations,' and deeply investigate the sexual world of living creatures in the science show 'The Story of "Sex" That Cannot Be Told to Children.' Additionally, visitors can observe sea urchins at the 'Denken Lab' in the Nature Zone, and take on quizzes through experiments and observations at the summer special exhibition 'Hands-on Two-Choice Quiz: Which is the Answer? Exhibition.' Science workshop gachapon capsule toys will also be sold at the museum shop. It is an event where adults can thoroughly enjoy an exciting night at the science museum in a relaxed atmosphere.
