[Special Exhibition Related Event] Tomoyo Yamamura Illustration Workshop: Let's Draw Illustrations on Andon Lanterns to Color Yaizu Town!

About this event

This is a hands-on workshop to draw illustrations on andon lanterns that will decorate the "Akari Exhibition" held on Hamadori, together with illustrator Tomoyo Yamamura, who is from Yaizu City. Participants bring their own tools for drawing on washi paper and create original andon lanterns under the guidance of Yamamura. Held as part of the 17th Yaizu Hamadori Summer Akari Exhibition, this event offers an opportunity to nurture children's creativity. Participation is free, but capacity is limited to 10 people, requiring advance registration. Registration starts on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 9:00 AM via a dedicated form.
