Fun Model Train Operation Gathering

About this event

Held at the Fujieda City Museum of Local History, the 'Fun Model Train Operation Gathering' is a related event of the special exhibition 'Fujieda Railway Expo'. Various model trains in N gauge and HO gauge will run, ranging from vehicles that ran across the country during the former Japanese National Railways era to modern and overseas rolling stock. You can enjoy the sight of elaborately crafted model trains running up close. This event is held in conjunction with the 'Nobutaro Hara Model Train Exhibition', which displays approximately 60 large and elaborate model trains crafted by Nobutaro Hara, hailed as the god of model trains, as well as a special exhibition introducing Fujieda's railway heritage. In addition to the model train running sessions, gallery talks by the deputy director of the Hara Model Railway Museum and railway lectures are also scheduled, offering content that railway fans as well as families can enjoy. Visitors to the special exhibition can participate for free.
