About this event
Marking its 26th edition, the "Enshu Yokosuka Kaido Little Culture Exhibition" began in 1999 and is held annually for three days from Friday through Sunday, including the fourth Sunday of October. The venues are local private homes, shops, and other buildings in the area. Spaces such as eaves, rooms, and earthen-floored entryways are borrowed as exhibition spaces, where artists from across the country exhibit works in various genres including pottery, woodworking, and calligraphy. Demonstrations of traditional crafts and manual skills by local masters are also a highlight. Visitors can enjoy viewing the artworks and experiencing the local culture while strolling through the historic townscape. Admission is free.
