The 'Domannaka Fukuroi All-Japan Dango Festival 2026' is a gourmet event bringing together local dango (dumplings) from all over Japan, held on the grounds of Hattasan Soneiji Temple in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Exquisite dango from across the country, from Iwate in the north to Kumamoto in the south, will gather, allowing visitors to enjoy a wide variety of flavors. Limited sales of Hattasan's specialty 'Hojicha Dango' will also take place. During the event, programs such as Dango School, Town Community Culture Festival, and Great Discovery of Delicious Shizuoka Food will be held, allowing visitors to experience local specialties and culture. In addition, stage events including a talk show by singer Takeshi Matsubara, who is from Fukuroi City, are scheduled. Besides local dango, various activities are prepared at the venue to ensure visitors can enjoy themselves all day. Access is approximately 15 minutes from Tomei Kakegawa IC, about 20 minutes from Fukuroi IC, and free shuttle buses are scheduled to operate from JR Aino Station. Admission is free, but each dango variety is available in limited quantities and will end as soon as sold out.
