About this event

The 28th Nippon Domannaka Festival is one of Japan's largest dance festivals, set in the middle of Japan during midsummer in Nagoya. Around 200 teams and 20,000 dancers from Japan and abroad gather to perform dances rich in regional character. Rather than just watching, this festival offers an inspiring experience with a new style where everyone can participate and become a main star. Centered around Hisaya Odori Park, the event takes place across 16 venues throughout Nagoya City, including Sakae and Nagoya Station. In addition to the main event in August, the excitement continues with the online-streamed "Tele-Domatsuri" in November and the "Autumn Domatsuri" at Moricoro Park, allowing people to enjoy the festival's vibrant energy for an extended period. It is a lively dance celebration ideal for making late-summer memories.
