Traditional Culture Children's Recital

About this event

This is an event where traditional Japanese music groups in the city and students who participated in the summer vacation traditional culture children's classes present the results of their regular practice. A wide variety of programs will be performed, including koto music, traditional Japanese dance, ohayashi (traditional festival music), and shamisen. Admission is free. Performing groups include Traditional Culture Children's Class Students (Koto division, Japanese Dance division, Ohayashi division), Tsugaru Shamisen Miyabi-kai, Koto Kodemari (1), Shizukoma-kai, Manpan-kai, Children's Shamisen Orchestra "Mikawa Doji", Koto Music Shiu-kai, Koto Kodemari (2), and a special performance by instructors is also scheduled. Each group will showcase performances across various genres such as koto music, Tsugaru shamisen, dance, and ohayashi, serving as a stage to present the children's growth and daily practice. In particular, the performances and dances led primarily by children are among the highlights.
