About this event
This parent-child hands-on experience event will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Minakuru Plaza and around Minakuchi Castle in Minakuchicho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. Planned as an experiential event that leverages the region's nature, culture, industry, and human talent, this project creates opportunities for people, businesses, and organizations to interact with one another. The main attraction is an obstacle sports experience where participants overcome obstacles by running, jumping, climbing, and crawling, with kids, junior, and open classes held in the morning and afternoon. In addition, there will be booths to experience the products, services, technologies, jobs, and community initiatives of local companies and organizations, along with 4 scheduled food/beverage booths. A sticker rally will also be held at the venue, designed to allow visitors to engage with multiple companies and local resources while having fun. Admission is free, and a wide range of visitors, especially children, youth, and parenting families, is expected. It aims to be a day that provides an opportunity to rediscover local charms and envision the city's future together.
