About this event
Held in the Gokasho district of Higashiomi City, "Buratto Gokasho Town Walk" is an event set against the atmospheric streets known as the hometown of Omi merchants. The "Historical Picture Scroll Procession," where participants parade dressed in late Edo to Taisho period costumes, offers the sensation of stepping back in time. In addition, through the "Street Corner Art Museum and Museum," visitors can view art such as paintings and ink wash paintings inside Omi merchant residences and the Omi Merchant Museum, turning the entire town into an art museum and gallery. Stage events and hospitality corners are also planned, allowing visitors to spend an inspiring day filled with art in charming streets.
