1st Himeji Night Market

The 1st Himeji Night Market will be held for the first time on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Otemae Park spreading south of the World Cultural Heritage Himeji Castle. As the first night market in Himeji, this event is planned for the whole family to enjoy from 16:00 to 22:00 as the evening cools down into night. Various booths for children and adults alike will appear at the venue, packed with content to see, eat, and play, including festival game booths, handmade goods, workshops, food, and a kids' park (inflatable play equipment, petting zoo). In particular, the kids' park plans inflatable play structures and a petting zoo, making it ideal for outings with children. Exclusive performances are also scheduled, with "Performer Leo" on August 22 and "Smile Circus" on August 23, offering different entertainment depending on the date. Otemae Park overlooking Himeji Castle becomes the night market venue, offering two days of gourmet food, shopping, workshops, and performances.
