Held on the 3rd Saturday of every month, the "Otake Fisheries GO GO Market" is a monthly treat organized by the Kuba Fisheries Cooperative and the Atatajima Fisheries Cooperative. At Taitai Konbo inside the Kuba Fisheries Cooperative, customers can purchase live fish swimming in holding tanks, including red sea bream, striped jack, thread-sail filefish, tiger pufferfish, and blue swimming crab. Available fish species vary depending on the catch, so visitors might encounter unexpected varieties. Fresh locally caught seafood is lined up, and due to high popularity, most items sell out within about an hour. Even if you do not know how to prepare a certain fish, the staff will kindly explain recommended recipes. In addition, morning-harvested vegetables, processed foods, and prepared dishes by Otake 6th Industrialization members will be sold, featuring seasonal delicacies such as grilled conger eel, small sardine tempura, 98 (Kuba) Burgers, and small shrimp kakiage fritters. Perfect for enjoying a luxurious dinner at home using fresh seafood.
