'GIII-Vol.165 So Sowen "Air Condition"' held at the Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto is a solo exhibition by the artist So Sowen. This exhibition presents new works created in collaboration with people gathered at 'Garage33 Gallery-Shelter' in Kyiv, Ukraine. The theme is 'breathing,' which is regarded not only as the beginning of life's activities, but also as an act that shakes the boundaries between individuals as countless breaths mix into the atmosphere. Standing alongside people who have lived through the harsh conditions of war and artists who continue to express themselves through the medium of the body, So Sowen listens closely to their breathing, warming the cold air within their own body, and sublimates the process of returning it to the atmosphere into artwork. Through this exhibition, it is hoped that the artist's breath and the visitors' breaths will overlap, creating an opportunity to subtly shift the direction of the world's wind. The venue is Gallery III / Nobumichi Ide Memorial Gallery at the Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto.
