About this event
'Fureai Hiroba 2026' is a welfare festival where volunteer groups, civic organizations, welfare facilities, companies, and government agencies involved in social welfare gather to deepen exchanges through stalls and stage performances. It aims to provide an opportunity for participants to come into contact with volunteering. In fiscal year 2026, it will be held at 'Furusato Fureai Park' and the 'Comprehensive Welfare Center.' This event utilizes part of the Red Feather Community Chest funds, and part of the sales proceeds will be used for welfare projects. It has been confirmed to be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and stall vendors are currently being recruited. In the previous year's 'Fureai Hiroba 2025,' approximately 2,000 people visited, showing great lively bustle. At the Furusato Fureai Park venue, children's play areas, festivals by junior and student volunteers, cardboard bed assembly experiences, and more were held, and at the Fureai Marche, elaborate stalls by welfare facilities, companies, and organizations as well as food and kitchen car corners were set up. On the outdoor stage, dance, singing, and musical instrument performances livened up the venue. At the Comprehensive Welfare Center venue, 'Fukushi no Hiroba' featured welfare experiences such as sign language, braille, and summarized written interpretation, as well as PR activities and bazaars by volunteer groups, public organizations, and corporations.
