49th Tone Town Citizens Cool Evening Fireworks Festival

About this event

The 49th Tone Town Citizens Cool Evening Fireworks Festival, a summer tradition of Tone Town, will be held. At the main venue along the Tone River riverbank below Sakaebashi Bridge, many open-air stalls will line up and Bon Odori dancing will be held on stage, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the nostalgic summer festival atmosphere. In addition, the Kawasegaki floating lantern memorial ceremony will be solemnly conducted on the waters of the Tone River by Tokuman-ji Temple, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful harmony of fantastic lantern lights reflecting on the water surface and powerful fireworks lighting up the night sky. Furthermore, numerous food trucks will be stationed at Tone Ryokuchi Sports Park, which serves as the parking area, where you can enjoy the fireworks alongside delicious food and drinks. Approximately 1,500 fireworks are scheduled to be launched.
