At the venue, a "Scarecrow Contest" is held where the grand prix is decided by visitor votes on displays of unique scarecrows made by citizens and organizations. On the outdoor stage titled "Satoyama LIVE," visitors can enjoy live musical performances by artists. Activities for children, such as sweet potato harvesting, disposable chopstick guns, chopstick catapults, and treasure fishing, are also prepared for the whole family to enjoy. Furthermore, a wide variety of stalls are scheduled to open, including food and drink booths serving yakisoba, prepared dishes, soft drinks, and craft beer, as well as a market and workshops offering fortune-telling, chiropractic treatments, accessories, and more.
