4th Hanno Satoyama Bonfire Festival 2026

Set against the rich forest environment of Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, the "4th Hanno Satoyama Bonfire Festival 2026" is a one-night-only special event themed around an adult Christmas. The venue features a 20-stall market offering local crafts and food, with diverse culinary experiences including wild boar soup (inoshishi-jiru), pizza making, and baked goods sales. There is also a wide variety of handmade workshops such as candle making, deer antler keychain crafting, and paracord wreath making, offering plenty of ways to spark creativity. One of the event highlights is the hot whisky served at the Bonfire BAR hosted by Venture Whisky, where hot water boiled over retired casks creates a one-of-a-kind drink. Furthermore, CARVAAN, a brewery restaurant by the Hanno Riverbank, will offer "Belgian White Kitagawa Edition," a collaborative beer crafted with yuzu citrus from Kitagawa. Other alcoholic beverages and sweet amazake will be offered by Yamane Shuzo. From the evening onward, a grand raffle and a Christmas concert featuring Hanno City's official PR ambassador Inashin, Miharashi Drive-in Toshi & Miki, and Akito Takeuchi will take place, while the venue is illuminated by candles and decorative lights. Bonfire master consultations and a fire-starting time trial will also be held, allowing visitors to appreciate the depth of bonfire culture. Train access is convenient, with a shuttle bus running from Nishi-Agano Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line to the venue. The event proceeds in light rain, but will be canceled in severe weather, so checking ahead is recommended.
