41st Minami Community Center Festival

About this event

The "41st Minami Community Center Festival," held at Wako City Minami Community Center, is an event where local residents gather and deepen exchanges. During the festival period, a special project titled "Let's Make Magatama!" will be carried out at Minami Community Center. In this project, participants will craft magatama (ancient curved bead accessories) while reflecting on the Echigoyama Ruins, a Jomon period settlement located in the southern area. The crafted magatama can also be exhibited during the festival. In past festivals, performances by the Wako Municipal Third Junior High School Brass Band were also presented, and musical flair is expected. Information regarding performances by the Japanese drumming group Wako Daiko has also been confirmed, making it a venue where diverse performances can be enjoyed.
