Atracklab Presents Sadamine Pass Hill Climb 2026

About this event

The only hill climb event held in Saitama Prefecture, 'Sadamine Pass Hill Climb', will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, set in Higashichichibu Village. Cyclists will ride up from within the village through Sadamine Pass and Shiroishi Pass, finishing at the Doudaira Observatory. Characterized by a warm, homey atmosphere handcrafted by local residents, it is an event that can be widely enjoyed by everyone from serious riders to beginners. The awards ceremony will be held at Higashichichibu Village Fureai Plaza after descending the pass. Participants will have staggered starts grouped according to riding ability categories, with timing measured between the two points from the start to the finish line. At the Doudaira Observatory Campsite, which is the finish point, restrooms are available and light meals are planned to be provided. After descending the mountain, food trucks will also be available at Fureai Plaza. As participation prizes, two 500-yen vouchers usable at the venue and neighboring shops are provided. Champion jerseys will be awarded to the overall male and female winners, and a system is also in place where supplementary prizes are prepared for non-podium finishers as well.
