The Higashichichibu Village Sports Festival 2026 will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026 (Reiwa 8) in Higashichichibu Village, Saitama Prefecture. This event aims to provide village residents with opportunities to enjoy physical exercise and sports, and participation is free of charge. Anyone, from small children to seniors, is welcome to join freely. On the day of the event, various activities will take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Fureai Hiroba and the Higashichichibu Junior High School Gymnasium. Visitors can try various sports across 12 experience booths, and clearing 5 booths earns a 500-yen meal voucher that can be used at the Food Marche. In addition, exciting stage performances by four groups are scheduled, including Dia Feliz, a dance team with world competition experience. Numerous food trucks and food tents operated by village organizations will also be set up, offering plenty of gourmet options to enjoy. It is an event where you can fully experience the autumn of sports and appetizing food in Higashichichibu Village.
