About this event
As part of "Law Day" events, the Ministry of Justice will be open to the public for "Law Day Festa in Red Brick." This is a valuable opportunity to experience the Ministry of Justice for one day only, a place rarely accessible normally. Many interactive and participatory programs are prepared to help visitors learn about "law" and the work of the Ministry of Justice while having fun. Visitors can also enter the Ministry of Justice Red Brick Building, a national Important Cultural Property, allowing families and friends to experience the Ministry of Justice "fully." Admission is free, though some events require advance registration. Details can be checked on the official website. In the Legal History Exhibition Room, a special exhibition titled "Touch, Trace, Connect: The Ministry of Justice and the 100-Year Journey of the Showa Era" will be held, showcasing the maturation of the "rule of law," the people who supported legislation in the Showa period, the initiatives of the Ministry of Justice, and female legal professionals who lived through the Showa era. These exhibits will be unveiled for the first time at the Law Day Festa.
