Organized collaboratively by shopping streets in Taito, Arakawa, and Adachi wards, the "Wasshoi Festival in Asakusa Kokusai-dori" is an event along Asakusa Kokusai-dori that blends old and new charms. The venue features a diverse range of stage performances, including revues, geisha dances, popular music shows, and hula dancing. Furthermore, it is packed with attractions for adults and children alike, such as free rickshaw ride experiences, chindon-ya (traditional musical advertising troupe) parades, inflatable bouncers, and traditional fair stalls. In addition, workshops such as a shopping street quiz rally, palm reading, cream soda candle making, perfume bottle-style artificial flower arrangements, retro accessory case crafting using stickers, cocktail shaker practice, and mizuhiki cord craft are offered, allowing participants to discover local charms through various experiences.
