About this event
The "Grand Sumo September Tournament," held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, features 15 days of intense bouts among sumo wrestlers as the autumn Tokyo tournament. At the venue, in addition to watching the powerful bouts up close, visitors can enjoy "Venue Experience" content such as Kokugikan gourmet food and sumo souvenir goods. Talk events by the Sumo Museum will also be held, providing opportunities to experience the history and culture of sumo. On television, tournament-related programs will be broadcast to further enhance the viewing excitement. Advance tickets go on sale starting Saturday, August 8.
