About this event
The civic art festival 'Art Para Fukagawa Talkative Art Festival 2026,' which exhibits works by artists with disabilities throughout the town to create new connections between people and the community as well as person to person, will be held in the Fukagawa area of Koto Ward, Tokyo (Monzen-nakacho, Kiyosumi-shirakawa, Morishita). Since its inaugural event in 2020, local residents, companies, and volunteers have united to foster this initiative, aiming to realize an inclusive society of 'living together.' In this art festival, the goal is to encounter colorful artworks created by artists with disabilities while strolling around town, take an interest in their backgrounds and stories, and deepen mutual understanding through conversation. Approximately 200 artworks will be exhibited throughout the town, allowing visitors not only to appreciate the works but also to engage in diverse experiences such as 'creating,' 'meeting,' and 'participating.' In addition, the 'Art Para Exploration Rally' allows participants to enjoy art and town walking while collecting stamps using LINE, with prizes available. Furthermore, workshops, live painting, art battles, and markets will be held, creating opportunities for diverse people to connect serendipitously and foster new dialogues and creations. This festival aims to be an all-inclusive art festival that anyone can join and enjoy.
