About this event
The 'Sumida Matsuri', aimed at raising awareness of town development for 'Hometown Sumida' and promoting regional revitalization in Sumida Ward, and the 'Kodomo Matsuri' (Children's Festival), aimed at creating opportunities for healthy child development and fostering friendship, will be held concurrently. The Sumida Matsuri will feature stage events, food/booth stalls, regional product fairs, and PR corners. The Kodomo Matsuri will offer a 'Children's Play Corner' and 'Children's Parade' inside the Higashin Arena. Furthermore, in Kinshi Park, a variety of street performers—including stilt performer Oguras, pole dancer Himeno Takashima, jugglers Mirko and Kyon, comedian Tenta Matsutsuruka, and clown bomb—will deliver street performances to liven up the venue. The street performance will take place in the special venue (tennis court) shown in the middle of the diagram above.
