Autumn "Sumida Glass Fair" 2026

Sumida Ward's classic autumn event, the "Sumida Glass Fair 2026," will be held over two days on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2026 at the Oyokogawa Water Park "Nagasakibashi Bridge Site Event Plaza." Sixteen member companies will sell nationally designated traditional crafts such as "Edo Glass," "Edo Kiriko" cut glass, and various other glassware products at special prices. The venue, bringing together artisan craftsmanship and the beauty of glass, offers a great chance to discover bargains. Under the soft autumn light, glass reveals a deeper, calmer expression slightly different from summer. Taking the time to look through pieces born from artisans' hands one by one to find a special item to bring into your daily life is a unique pleasure of the glass fair. A charity sale will also take place during the event, and food trucks will be on site.
