About this event
The Vessel Productions, a contemporary circus company based in Sweden, makes their long-awaited first visit to Japan to perform "Vessel - Space Journey -". Three circus artists who trust and support one another deliver high-level performances such as Cyr wheel, tightrope walking, and juggling, depicting a story of traveling into an unknown world that cannot be reached alone. Emerging in a minimalist stage space, the beautifully harmonious physical expressions woven by artists with over 15 years of experience spin a tale of human connection without relying on words. At times, live guitar performances are added, further deepening the world of the work. Delivered also as a celebration of artists who rekindled their appreciation for direct human connection after the pandemic, gathering again and working together, this work portrays the joy of traveling together and the irreplaceable nature of that bond.
