About this event
The 59th Fukuro Festival, an annual citizens' festival that colors autumn in Ikebukuro, will be held in two parts. In its second part, the 'Dance Festival', approximately 5,000 participants across 107 teams will perform Yosakoi dances and theatrical dance performances over two days. In particular, the 'Tokyo Yosakoi Contest' will take place on the second day, where teams compete with elaborately choreographed, magnificent dance routines. In addition, during the Dance Festival period, the Toshima City Friendship Cities Tourism and Local Products Exhibition will be held at Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park, where visitors can taste local specialties from various regions. It is an Ikebukuro autumn tradition where you can enjoy both energetic dancing and delicious gourmet food at the same time.
