About this event
The "Nishitama Fair 2026" will be held as an event where the 8 municipalities of the Nishitama region (Hamura City, Ome City, Fussa City, Akiruno City, Mizuho Town, Hinode Town, Hinohara Village, and Okutama Town) unite to showcase the charms of Nishitama. On the day of the event, PR booths for tourist information of each municipality will be set up, and official mascots from each municipality will gather to welcome visitors. As a visitor benefit, limited quantities of "Original Cotton Bags featuring the Official Mascots of the 8 Municipalities" will be distributed. The bags will be distributed in fixed quantities every hour, so visitors arriving at any time slot may have a chance to get one; however, distribution will end as soon as supplies run out during the 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM session. This will be a valuable opportunity to meet the official mascots for JR Hachioji Station users, nearby residents, and everyone living in the Nishitama area.
