The '50th Kitashitaura Summer Evening Hometown Festival' will be held, bringing together traditional performing arts of the Kitashitaura area under one roof. You can enjoy vibrant local festivities such as portable shrines (mikoshi), floats (dashi), Bon Odori dancing, and the local folk performing art 'Tora-odori' (Tiger Dance). Fireworks are also planned this year to light up the summer night sky. Stalls organized by neighborhood associations and other groups will open to build the festive atmosphere.
