The 40th Aikawa Town Labor Festival Outdoor Festival will be held along the streets of the Inland Industrial Park in Aikawa Town, Aiko District, Kanagawa Prefecture. Reflecting Aikawa Town where more than 3,000 residents of diverse nationalities from South American and Asian countries live, it is an international and colorful festival. In the pedestrian paradise venue, stalls offering global gourmet cuisine, sales of Aikawa Brand certified products, and food trucks will line the street. The stage events are also rich and varied, featuring Japanese taiko drum performances, hula dancing, Awa Odori, kids' dance, performances by bands from the town, Dominican Republic dance, and Yosakoi dance. In particular, the Samba Carnival is one of the festival highlights, presenting a gorgeous parade. The finale of the festival is marked by launch fireworks that illuminate the night sky. In addition, activities such as Kumihimo braid-making workshops and arm wrestling trials, as well as a lottery raffle, will be held, providing full-day entertainment.
