Bulgarian Traditional Instrument Concert by Bulgarian Musician
Japanese name:ブルガリア音楽家による伝統楽器演奏会
📅 Sat, Oct 10, 2026
About this event
At Cape Manazuru at the tip of Manazuru Peninsula, a concert to enjoy Bulgarian traditional music will be held. The performer is Yordan Krasimirov Markov, a player of the 'gadulka', a traditional Bulgarian string instrument. Coming to Japan in 2006, he continues activities to spread Bulgarian music, which is still relatively unfamiliar in Japan. On the day, you can enjoy the unique tone quality of the gadulka and traditional Bulgarian music up close. An exhibition of paintings by Bulgarian artist Eleonora Hristova is also planned at the venue. Furthermore, special Bulgarian products such as rose water, rose jam, and herbal tea will be sold. Enjoy a moment experiencing an exotic culture that is a little different from the usual, surrounded by the sea and forest at Cape Manazuru. It will be held in two parts (daytime session and evening session), with each session lasting about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The fee is 1,500 yen (with one drink included), and admission is free for elementary school students and younger. Reservations and inquiries are accepted via the Instagram account listed on the flyer.
