Sky Fes Tonami 2026

"Sky Fes Tonami 2026" will be held, where colorful hot air balloons decorate the autumn sky of Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture. 36 hot air balloon teams from all over Japan will gather to conduct competitive flights and trial rides. There is an appeal unique to this event where you can look down from the sky at the magnificent scenery of Tonamino, such as the Tateyama Mountain Range, Toyama Bay, and dispersed settlements (sankyoson). This year marks the first time in the history of Sky Fes Tonami to be held in September, allowing visitors to enjoy it at a different time of year compared to usual October events. While feeling the power of hot air balloons up close, you can fully enjoy the homey atmosphere of the tournament.
