21st Imizu City Exhibition

About this event

The 'Imizu City Exhibition', an open-call exhibition of new works by artists associated with Imizu City, will be held at Kochuha Bunka Hall (Shinminato Chuo Bunka Kaikan). Serving as a stage to present the results of daily creative activities, many artists submit works, offering an accessible opportunity to appreciate a wide variety of pieces across diverse categories including Japanese-style painting, Western-style painting and design, sculpture and crafts, calligraphy, and photography. Admission is free. Eligibility is open to those living, working, or studying in Imizu City (excluding junior high school students), those who have lived, worked, or studied in the city in the past, those taking classes held in Imizu City, and anyone who loves Imizu City. An awards ceremony for prize winners will also be held, featuring commentary on winning works by the judges. At the venue, a popularity poll organized by the Imizu Cable Network program 'Bunka no Tobira' will take place, with a lottery gift drawing for voters. Please come to the venue to appreciate these masterpieces.
