Earth Day Shinshu / Earth Camp 2026 is an event where you can spend a day feeling your connection with the Earth while engaging with Shinshu's rich nature and culture. Reopening the origins of Earth Day, which began in 1970, to the modern era, the event aims to re-examine the relationship between humans and the Earth not through "advocacy" but through "sensory experience" within the climate and culture of Nagano. Providing a space where people across different positions and generations can meet, talk, and try new things, it is believed that the accumulation of these small dialogues and actions will become the foundation for future society. As a place for people to gather, experience, and get involved, this event connects eco-friendly and socially conscious choices to experiences that feel "fun" and make you want to "give it a try." Through a wide variety of programs including music, food, markets, and workshops, it fosters opportunities that lead to individual actions. On the day of the event, various projects, booths, workshops, and exhibitions will be held, and visitors can also enjoy talks and live performances on the stage program. Participants include ALPSCITY Project, ARARAT CAFE, ASOBE SHOP, ASUPIA x Koishi Kogyo wood and sand upcycling experience, Re:collection NAGANO workshop, TJ Yoho-ki, skateboard & ECOshop Hakaru AZUMINO, tabishirogelato, Tofu Campagne Kurashi no Shina mui, Niwaniwa Shizen Yokei, Hanahiraku, Ringo to Datsutanso Shakai Go! Zero Carbon! Project, Ringo no Omoi Matsumoto Branch, 33GAKU x ATOMica nature and technology experience, St. Cousair, Tare no Kenkyujo, Harom Alma, Pastone General Incorporated Association, Norikura Umaimono Kobo & Local food cafe Ichinohi, Azumino Onigiriya Watatsumi, Matsumoto City, Hatakehotoke Inc., Yamasa RD Co., Ltd., Sumibi Baisen Mori no Uta, and more.
