Shinshu Takayama Autumn Foliage Trekking 2026: Kasagatake and Yamada Farm Course, held in Takayama Village, Nagano Prefecture, is an event where you can fully enjoy nature during the autumn leaves season. This course covers approximately 7 kilometers: departing from YOU-Yu Land, traveling to Yamada Farm by microbus, hiking through Kasagatake Trail, Mt. Kasagatake, Touge no Chaya, Ogasa Route, and Ezo-Ajisai Path down to Yamada Farm, and returning to YOU-Yu Land by microbus. You can fully savor the autumn charm of Takayama Village while walking along the Kasagatake hiking trail decorated with autumn leaves and the scenic Ezo-Ajisai Path with its beautiful natural landscapes. The participation fee is 2,000 yen per person, payable at reception on the day. The meeting place is Takayama Village YOU-Yu Land, gathering at 8:30 AM, departing at 9:00 AM, and scheduled to dismiss around 3:00 PM. Boarding the microbus from Suzaka Station or Yamada Onsen is also possible. Required items include drinks, lunch, rain gear, and light mountain trekking equipment. Applications are accepted through the Shinshu Takayama Village Tourism Association or the designated form until noon of the previous day for each course, closing as soon as capacity is reached.
