Tajimi Nature Exhibition 2026

About this event

"Tajimi Nature Exhibition 2026" will be held to allow visitors to appreciate the wonder of Tajimi's rich nature through exhibits and hands-on activities. This event provides an opportunity for adults as well as younger generations to deepen their interest in Tajimi's nature. In addition to exhibits on a wide range of themes—including weather, stars, earth and rocks, Mount Kokei, flowers, birds, insects, fish, frogs, newts, and bats—hands-on corners such as "Make a Flapping Bat" will be set up. Displays of entries from an observational drawing competition and nature lectures where visitors can gain specialized knowledge about nature are also scheduled. In the nature lectures, intriguing topics will be presented on a daily rotating basis, such as "Fish Bounty Living in the Toki River," "The Appeal of Wild Bird Watching Transmitted from Tajimi," and "Harnessing the Regenerative Power of Hydra!" Furthermore, a mobile planetarium will make an appearance, and all visitors will receive a commemorative booklet titled "Tajimi Nature 2026," among many other highlights.
