About this event
This is a walking tour to rediscover the history and culture of the Okkawa Hirachi district in Handa City. Led by a guide, participants depart from Okkawa Junior High School and explore an approximately 4 km route visiting places such as Hirachi Cemetery, Sarutahiko Shrine, Hirachi Kannon-do, Hirachi Shinmei Shrine, Gyoja-do, and Hokyo-ji Temple. By discovering the hidden history within everyday landscapes and learning unfamiliar stories of the town, participants can discover new charms of Handa City. The event will be held rain or shine (cancelled in heavy rain), with a capacity of 40 participants (first-come, first-served basis).
