About this event

Set in Hekinan City, Aichi Prefecture, this walking event covers a course of approximately 7 kilometers lined with brewing storehouses and shrines and temples connected to the Tokugawa clan, allowing participants to experience the rich fermented food culture of the Tokai region with all five senses. Participants will receive souvenirs such as a completion certificate with a subtle miso aroma and a can badge. In addition, commemorating the "Mito Komon Special" broadcast on BS-TBS, a special stage event featuring Tetsuya Takeda (playing the role of Mito Mitsukuni) and Takuma Zaiki (playing the role of Suke-san) will also be held (exclusive to Plan A participants). At the venue, a limited-edition ramen made with traditional Aichi bean miso (mame miso) will be on sale (limited to 300 bowls, 1,000 yen), and the "Tsunagu Fermentation Marche," which gathers fermentation-related products, will also be open, allowing non-walkers to stop by freely. Plan A (Walk & Stage Course) is 3,850 yen (tax included), and Plan B (Walk Course) is 1,650 yen (tax included). Children of elementary school age and younger are free, although Plan A does not include a T-shirt for free children.
