The "Mitakigawa Lantern Festival & Komono Townspeople Bon Dance Festival", Komono Town's greatest summer tradition, will be held. The riverbed of the Mitaki River will be filled with handmade lanterns, creating a magical scene. In addition, a Bon Odori dance festival will unfold around Welfare Park on the south side of Komono Town Hall, featuring cooling food stalls and night market booths for plenty of enjoyment. In particular, a special fireworks display is planned this year to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Komono Town, promising an emotional finale that fuses the glow of the lanterns, the rhythm of the Bon Odori dance, and the fireworks lighting up the night sky. This event will be an opportunity for local residents to gather, deepen connections, and rediscover the charm of Komono Town.
