Art in Nagahama 2026

About this event

'Art in Nagahama,' an autumn tradition in Nagahama that has continued since 1987, will be held on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026. Centered around Kurokabe Square, the streets of the central district will serve as the venue, where approximately 200 groups of artists gathered from across the country will exhibit, demonstrate, and sell works including paintings, ceramics, glass, woodworking, and accessories. The true appeal of this festival is being able to hold one-of-a-kind artworks in your hands while conversing directly with the creators. Admission is free, making it easy to enjoy as a natural extension of strolling through town.
