NAKANOSHIMA ART LIGHTS 2026 - Art of Light Along the Waterfront -

About this event

Set in Nakanoshima Park, a world of light art that creates an exquisite nighttime atmosphere will unfold. With light artist Takahiro Matsuo serving as art producer, fantastic light art works, including first-time exhibits, will be displayed at Nakanoshima Park. On the opening day of the event, a mini fireworks display over the water will be held. Furthermore, during the three days from October 23 to 25, 'Night Glow & Music' will take place, where visitors can enjoy 'Night Glow' hot air balloons illuminating the night sky, field live music performances, and food menus including a wine bar. The light art exhibition features four works: 'K.L.V FIELD', 'Bloom with You', 'Water Bridge', and 'Prism in the Air', along with a new installation that generates rainbows through light and mist. At Night Glow & Music, visitors can enjoy the nighttime illumination of hot air balloons alongside a first-class music night by leading artists in the Kansai jazz, R&B, and soul scenes. A limited-time wine bar by a shop and cafe specializing in carefully selected natural wines will also open, allowing guests to spend high-quality time amidst special nighttime scenery.
