Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra Special Performance "Memorial Concert in Daito"

This is a special concert by the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the enforcement of the Daito city municipal system. A wide range of programs will be performed, from prestigious classical masterpieces to music associated with Daito City and popular songs that excite the audience. In the finale of the performance, titled "Let's Sing the Ninth in Japanese!", soloists active in Kansai, publicly recruited choir members, and the audience in the venue will unite to perform a once-in-a-lifetime moving chorus. Collaborations with an instrumental club born from the hall's courses and co-performances with kids dance are also among the highlights. At the end of the program, as a special project, a Japanese version of the Ninth "Ode to Joy" (lyrics by Rei Nakanishi) will be sung together with an original community-participation choir formed for this day. Preschool children are not admitted.
