The 'Special Tour of Kashihara Jingu and Odaigahara: Exploring Sites Associated with Emperor Jimmu' hosted by the Kamikitayama Village Tourism Association is a special 2-day, 1-night tour where you can simultaneously experience history associated with Emperor Jimmu and the magnificent nature of Odaigahara. The tour includes valuable experiences available only on this itinerary, such as a scenic hike in Odaigahara guided with commentary, a formal prayer service at the Inner Worship Hall of Kashihara Jingu, and a visit to Emperor Jimmu's Mausoleum. On the first day, participants can also enjoy a Kakinoha-zushi (persimmon leaf sushi) making experience at Forest Kamikita Hotel. A dedicated chartered bus from Kashihara-Jingumae Station is available, and the rich itinerary includes 1 night with 3 meals, one drink at dinner, and souvenirs. The tour is open to individuals aged 16 and older with mountain hiking experience (beginner level or above), limited to the first 16 applicants.
