Held in Yuasa Town, Wakayama Prefecture, the 22nd Kishu Yuasa Gyo-gyotto Fish Festival is a food festival where visitors can savor fresh seafood. Taking place around the Yuasa Bay Fisheries Cooperative main office, the opening ceremony starts at 10:30, followed by a powerful Japanese taiko drumming performance by Hayateuchi Taiko. At the gourmet fair, visitors can taste specialties such as grilled mackerel and seasoned mackerel rice, and a bayside cafe by the sea will also make an appearance. In addition, a specialty products fair, flea market, and open-air food stalls will be set up, promising a lively atmosphere. A shrimp scooping experience is also scheduled, making it an event enjoyable for both adults and children. It will be a day to fully enjoy not only fresh seafood, but also Yuasa Town's specialty products and local flavors.
