This learning exchange meeting explores the roots and evolutionary history of Japan's traditional "omikuji" (fortune slips) through the latest digital AR omikuji experience. Discover how AR omikuji works, how it was developed, and the secret story behind its creation. The session will also introduce the activities of the Japan New Year Association and its volunteer recruitment, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of preserving traditional culture and its modern developments. Because the content is flexibly tailored to participants' interests, the event can be enjoyed from various angles including history, education, and community activities. Participation is free (advance reservation required), and the event takes place at Shibukawa City Central Community Center in Gunma Prefecture.
